To fight against the injustice of the world as "harmony" is the ultimate pursuit in Chinese culture. I'd like to enhance it by sharing to worldwide! Also aiming to share the value of "empathy", I believe that we can understand and embrace the difference of each other more through the profound communication and connection, and eventually we are going to have a better world.

Hello! I am 依珩 Yee Hang from Hong Kong! I am outgoing with endless curiosity to explore and take challenges! I would like to travel around the world to meet new friends and experience different lives and culture! Striving to develop the career of making positive impact to the society. Always keen on participating in the services and works related to different meaningful events and tend to be involved more in the organizing level. I am also longing for "your" visit to Hong Kong! My home is too small for giving accomodation though, I can show you around in this place where I grow and live!=)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have shared good time with the hosts in my travels and mostly has turned into lifelong friendship . However, due to the limitation of the house size, I cannot host anybody but I can show people around Hong Kong definitely! I know many places and stories here because I like to hang around the city once I have free time! Hong Kong is a city with diversity, it's really enjoyable to make a visit! Come to me and I'll show you!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I started to do couchsurfing in my first trip of my life, to the U.S., Mexico and Guatemala in 2012. It was a memorable and wonderful experience! I also met many other couchsurfers during travelling and in the host's house. When comes to my next and the latest trip to Latin America, couchsurfing has already become my traveling style! Absolutely LOVE this idea that allows us to be able to in touch with the people around the world heart by heart!

Music, Movies, and Books

No specific preference on the genre or language, any kind of musics can be my favorite when it clicks! Sometimes the lyrics hit me off easier than the rhythm.

However I am more picky on movies. I like the movies with stories and messages, mostly about the meaning of life, love, destiny and existence. Most Disney movies from the 80s-90s are my all time favorites (Aladdin!), some Pixar movies (Up! and Coco!) as well. They not only are my precious memories of childhood, but also the inspiration to shape who I am. For me, they are way more than fairy tales, rather, they have more eternal and realistic elements involved.

I read a wide variety of books, novel, history, culture, geography, some economy XD, philosophy, social science, language, travel, some arts XD and even interior design (I just love to see those lovely houses!)... more into humanities than science.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Definitely my 1-year Latin America trip from 2016-2017. It was like a turning point of my life journey.

I have learnt how much Dad and Mom love me to let me go for my dream with unconditional support;

I have learnt that I could have full energy to go on my adventure only because all my family and friends cheer and comfort me with their endless love all the time.

I have learnt how lucky I am to live in this wonderful world because every stunning and heart moving natural landscape has given me the greatest awareness of existence;

I have learnt to be stronger to the core of strength within by the training from the both annoying and funny cultural shocks.

I have also learnt to be more tolerant and empathetic which now I am not that easy to feel anger anymore.

I have learnt to feel more and think less because of all the magical encounters with the beautiful souls, my belief on the power of destiny was being strengthened as well.

Meanwhile I have learnt to accept others’ good will instead of just devoting.

Also, I have learnt to fully open my heart to break through and embrace my fear;

I have learnt to hug, to express love…

It was such a blessing to go on this trip! And I am grateful to make this in Latin America where everyone, everything and every place carries the greatly compatible vibes with me. The beautiful memories are forever treasured in my heart. Plus, they are the great sources of energy for my life path.

Teach, Learn, Share

The ability of love is the ability of time. Always be humble and grateful for living at the moment. Moments turn to memories and make us more capable to love and to be loved. Time and life itself is the greatest mentor.
