Hello, World! I’m Wilbur Yeh from New Taipei City. Currently a senior student studying International Business in Shih Chien University. I consider myself a communicator between different nations and cultures. I get a surge of momentum when I get along with foreign affairs and people. They can broaden my horizon and help me to learn deep perspectives from each corner of the globe, not from the local.

My experiences about foreign affairs: teaching Chinese for foreign classmates, receiving foreign tourists, holding events such as an international festival and several Model United Nations conferences.

As a commuter, I’m almost be in Taipei City anytime. I’m very familiar with any attractions, landmarks, and landscapes in Taipei. I would like to show my hospitality to accommodate you. I can introduce the stories of every place you want to visit by showing you around! You’ll well know the Taiwanese culture and custom, which means interesting things you don’t know through the regular sightseeing. Also, I can be a photographer for you if you need.

I am also planning my travels outside Taiwan, I hope I can meet more foreign friends. We can share our own stories by chatting and do some local activities together:)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

It’s the most simple and direct approach to get to know local people! By sightseeing, we see the body only, while the Couchsurfing, the spirit.
Of course, it’s more meaningful than staying hotels and going restaurants that everyone would do. I wanna create my own story of traveling and serendipity with foreign friends.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was an exchange student in Chongqing, China in 2016. I guided my mainland classmates to do a performance of Taiwanese style song and dance together in a Cultural Show. Tiring but joyful!
