I was born in Colombia. Since 2016 I moved to Montreal. At this moment I am studying modern languages. My goal is to become one of the best language teachers in the world and in this way help as many people as I can. Besides that I am a very positive person, open-minded, dreamy, simple, warm, easy-going and relaxed. I am a lover of sports, nature, food, theater, music, photography and especially travel. I hope to visit as many places as possible throughout my life. I am potentially attracted by new experiences, adventures, people, learning and everything unknown. If you propose something to me, my answer has a 90% chance to be "Yes". Finally, my mother tongue is Spanish, now I am improving my English and my French and at the same time trying to learn some German.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Not long ago, I heard about this amazing community. I thought it would be a great idea to join CS because I love traveling, meeting people and having new experiences. Traveling with CS will allow me to meet many more people, get deeper into the communities I visit and have the possibility of spending some nights in homes and not in hotels. So, let's talk, let's meet, and let's make friends all around the world!

Currently I can not offer hosting service, but I definitely plan to do it when I have the means.

Interests

I am a person who loves to meet people, explore landscapes and taste food. I am very open to all ideas. I love listening to stories and sharing experiences and memories with people. I enjoy time in nature and doing sports, but without a doubt what I love the most is traveling.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

2013: My first trip alone to the United States with a duration of 6 months, where I had the opportunity to give computer classes to seniors.

2016: I moved and started living in Montreal without knowing a bit of French. I also made my first road trip through Illinois and Wisconsin.

2018: I spent a month traveling for the first time through western Europe. When I finished it I went back to Montreal, slept one night and then took 5 planes in a single day to get to Denver, where I made a road trip through Colorado, Wyoming, South Dakota and Utah. Back in Canada I was camping and I could see 12 shooting stars in one night! It was beautiful!

2019: This year I will travel through Europe for approximately one month and then I will go to Colombia for another month. Something tells me that I will have very good new experiences!

I would be super happy to help you learn Spanish, in fact, I want to be a language teacher with a specialization in Spanish. I love learning about different cultures, lifestyles, customs and experiences of other people.
