After several amazing experiences as a Couchsurfing guest, I now want to give back as a host. I live with my husband who loves couchsurfing like me.

"My AMAZING experiences"

I am a Korean girl but boardless who is loving spontaneouse trips and people in there!
I was so curious about Japanese local areas that I went to Gunma as an exchange student for 1 year.
After I graduated from university, I got an overseas sales job for a machinery company.
However, my dream leaded me to fly to the U.S. after quitting my job to expose myself to adventurous world.
After I came back to Seoul, I could find out something adventurous in my ordinary life. But for more excitement, I decided to travel Japan for 1 month via couchsurfing. It was a life-changing trip for me by meeting amazing people and myself.

Currently I have been living in Oslo for 2 years since I met my husband who was my Couchsurfing guest in Japan. Living in Norway is my life chapter two. Totally different culture, language, people, like traveling via Couchsurfing.
Based on my Couchsurfing experiences, I continue a cheerful life here in Oslo.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

The people I have met on my trips have been inspring me what is the priority value for designing my own life.

Interests

I am a definatelty food lover, especially sweet desserts! I had my trip crossing whole Japan to chase delicious food and nature of winter.
Also, I love reading novels and write my own essays. My favorite writer is Murakami Haruki. He changed my life to get interested in Japanese culture and languages since I was a teenager.

Music, Movies, and Books

I have eclectic music taste but nowadays I like sweet music such as Japanese city pop, Jazz, old-pop.
My favorite song is "Say you love me by Pattie Austin", "1,000 miles by Tahiti 80", "Sweet 19 blues by Amuro namie". and so on..

My favorite Movie is "Love Letter by Iwai Shunji".
It leaded me to go to Hokkaido in Japan in the winter time. For chasing the snow!

I was able to find my way certainly by bumping into breathtaking nature, amazing people, authentic Japanese local food.

I got deeply impressed by how they made their lives rich with no money. We talked about how to enjoy our lives more and it made me feel clear for making my own life.

Teach, Learn, Share

I and my husband enjoy cooking and drinking and dining out. We also enjoy learning each others home recipes with Couchsurfers.

Also, I just started learning Salsa and Yoga. I am not a sporty person but those two subjects make me feel alive and stay in a good balance!

I would love to cook Korean food for hosts! Just let me know the spicy level you can handle!

I would love to share my joyable life with you by sharing sightseeing, foods, local drinks! I am ready to feel happy with them because I know what make people happy!
