We have finished the trip around the world. It was an amazing adventure. We both want to travel more and more. part of our occupation.

ABOUT ME

Soon Jeong: I have worked in the hospitality industry (5 star hotel) for over 12 years. Scott and I quit our jobs and have started our new careers as travel photographers and writers and video journalists.Not yet making a full time living at it but its something we are progressing towards. I LOVE food and food preparation, (I'm creating a world cookbook from our travels around the world) I Love to travel and meet new people and cultures.

SCOTT: I was an English Professor at the university level in Asia (Korea and Japan) for 18 years. Now I am teaching at an American University in Kuwait. This is my day job. My other job is to progress to being a full time travel photographer and writer. Currently working on a ESL textbook for a Japanese publisher that has a travel theme. Traveling is something I MUST do, it's who I am. I love photography because it forces me to look deeper into what makes the people, places, and things so wonderful. Love Coffee. (roast my own beans) I'm vegetarian but will eat small amounts of fish. Soon Jeong and I did take a trip around the world a couple of years ago. We are hoping to be able to do another world trip that includes all new destinations. But for now, we work when we have to and travel when we can.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Scott and I couchsurf when it works into our travel plans and host when we can. We have made friends with people we couchsurfed with and some of them have come to visit us. We hope many of our friends, new and old, can come to visit us where ever we are. Currently we are living in Kuwait for the time being. When we return to Seattle we hope our new friends and other CouchSurfers will come and stay at our house in Seattle.
