My name is Yelda, I grew up in Germany but am actually of Turkish descent. As a host or surfer, I believe that I have much that I can offer in the way of these two cultures. Some of my current interests include things such as:
-Swing Dancing
-Zumba
-Hiking
-Discovering gorgeous coastlines and scuba spots around the world
-Bicycling
-Paddleboarding
-Kayaking

Naturally I also enjoy calmer activities such as
-Sewing
-Preparing and discussion german/turkish foods/beers
-And academic interests such as human psychology and non-verbal behaviors, such as reading people's body languages.

I would love to stay with locals, because I love to see the culture and the way of living in every country I’m visiting.
So you don’t have to be afraid of your home (Couch), I will treat it like it’s mine :)

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

For so many years I avoided the idea of couchsurfing, out of concerns for personal safety. However, now on my first around-the-world trip, I gave it a chance and absolutely loved it. Its about so much more than the free place to stay, its about experiencing the destination the way that the locals do an making friends with your hosts. Likewise, I can give the same aid and experiences to travelers when they come visit me in Germany! I may be new to couch surfing, but I am sure that I am addicted!

I feel like there is much that I share with my hosts, how to cook turkish or german foods. Perhaps some lessons in Zumba or Swing dancing? Pretty much everything that I went over in my profile^ :-)
