I am Canadian, but was born in the Caribbean. I am loyal and trustworthy. I take those two things very seriously. I enjoy a good time, but I am pretty happy appreciating a quiet moment too.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Well, I joined a long time ago and never took the plunge. Can't explain why. Finally in 2014, I tried couchsurfing in Taiwan. Wow! What an experience. So much fun. Such a fun way to see the city and meet people from there. I was hosted by two different people for a total of 5 days. I also got to know someone that was only available for hanging out. I gotta say that the experience of being let into people's homes and lives was the highlight of the trip. I felt so privileged to be there.

Interests

Of course, I love travelling. For me it is about meeting people, feeling the air, tasting the food, and taking lots of pictures. Recently, I have become addicted to my E Reader.

Music, Movies, and Books

I could go on about music forever. I absolutely love music. It moves me like nothing else. Faves include: Bob Dylan, Bob Marley, U2, Bon Iver, Girl Talk, Juanes, Chet Baker, any soca music or reggae, techno, house, drum and base, trip hop... these lists never seem to do the music justice, but thats the best i can do now...

Movies: elf, groundhog day, matrix, fight club, breakfast at tiffanys, superhero movies, disney/pixar, etc, anything by pedro almodovar, woody allen

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Iguazu Falls in Argentina. Simply one of the most beautiful places in the world. It is enormous. It takes hours to walk around and through it. The mist, the power, the diving swallows... Breathtaking!

The Himalayas of Nepal. The rest of the world disappears up there. I never stopped being amazed at the feeling of living and walking above the clouds.

Mount Fuji in Japan. The candle lit mountain path was unforgettable.

Hitchhiked in Japan, Armenia, Argentina, Germany, Georgia, Slovenia, Czech Republic

Scuba diving in the Philippines.
