I am a "man-child" ... all grown up and hate responsibility and cant stand silly rules. I love to have fun and respect people's way of life and cultures. I believe that the "truly educated, never graduate".

I live life as an adventure. I love to have new experiences and meet new people. The Human is a social creature and a traveler if you live life right!

I have hosted many a traveler and am looking forward to getting out on the road.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

When I went through a tough time in my life about 10 yrs ago I couch-surfed with many friends for a few months. Their kindness and generosity during my rough time taught me a lot about compassion and, friendship and trust.

Interests

Love to eat good food, drink good drinks, play poker. I am very competetive, but a good loser too. I enjoy hiking and camping. i also enjoy quality TV time with really bad TV.

Music, Movies, and Books

Books I devour as much as possible. I will read just about anything. Music I am a bit more picky about. I spent 3 years following The Grateful Dead in the early 90's. I have a hippie heart. I love action, adventure, comedy and the classics in those genres.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I live 100yrds away from Old Faithful Geyser in a cabin in the middle of Yellowstone National Park

Teach, Learn, Share

I have been in the restaraunt business for most of my life. At every level. Over the years and throughout my many journeys and have become quite a fine cook. I enjoy spending time in the kitchen and cooking for others.
