To travel more..... and finish my doctorate while doing it.

ABOUT ME

I am currently a doctoral student in sociology at the University of California, Davis. I have been in school for a long time and I would stay in school forever if I could. When I'm not reading or writing, I love going to concerts at low key venues and deep sea fishing. I have also been infected by the travel bug so I'm rarely stationary.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I surfed couches in Barcelona and Prague while I was studying in France for six months. I met really cool people along the way and plan on meeting more!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

It's amazing that I'm pursuing my doctorate considering my parents are refugees from Vietnam and neither of them finished elementary school. On a more superficial level, flying through a rain forest in Thailand while 300 feet up in the air was pretty amazing. I have also seen a mutant pineapple with more than one crown... look at my photos.
