About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To build and ride a bamboo bicycle
ABOUT ME
I am who I am, and I will be who I will be.
Very interested in adventure, alternative ways of living and community, I think community is the answer to so many of our questions (and probably the question to so many of our answers). I like to think I'm easy going, and easy to get along with. Enjoy meeting new people and especially new cultures. Love to experiment and learn new things, especially in the kitchen.
PHILOSOPHY
I think one of the greatest things we can do on this earth is to learn and share.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I have not as of yet participated in couchsurfing.org very much, but I am very keen to do so as I greatly support the concept. I joined while I was riding a bicycle through asia, but found that I did not use the couchsurfing network as the people I met along the way were always happy to allow me some space to sleep.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Very little official CS experience to date, but a great amount of unofficial couches I have surfed and hosted, through friends, friends of friends and friends of friends of friends and then of course the beloved random kind strangers. We love you.
Interests
I am very interested in communities, especially the human side. The people who are the catalysts or driving force behind, and their motivations for such. I am also interested in sustainable business, environnmentally, socially and financially. Hmm, fermenting, yoga, massage, gardening, permaculture, alternative building techniques (eg straw bale, mud etc), in fact I am quite interested in any alternative to our socially accepted norms.

Music, Movies, and Books
I like books, any kind really. Some movies I like, some I am not so fond of. and music, ahh, music is the heart and soul of all humanity.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Probably one of the most amazing things I have done is to ride a bicycle from Thailand, down through Malaysia, Singapore, Sumatra, Jakarta and up to Kalimantan and Borneo.
Teach, Learn, Share
I am very interested in food; cooking, storing, presenting and most especially fermenting. As such I learnt many fermentation recipes which I am more than willing to share. Helping run an urban community has also taught me a great amount about both organisational and personal concepts in group facilitation.
