About Me

Dear friends, My name 's Yen, but you just call me Jenny. I'm 29 years old. I graduated from International Relations Faculty from USSH Ho Chi Minh City and now I am an English teacher in Phu Yen, Vietnam.
I used to work as a tour guide for Sai Gon Adventure Tour and spent 4 months living in the USA with an Exchange Culture Program. Therefore, I love learning through traveling and making friends with other people, especially foreign friends.
Thanks to a little bit of knowledge about Vietnamese History and Culture, I'd like to invite all of you guys to come to my country and discover many interesting things as well as lots of beautiful landscapes and delicious food.
At the end of 2018, I left Saigon and moved to Phu Yen Province to challenge myself with a new job. Phu Yen is a peaceful place but it is still developing. Many students here don't have many opportunities to gain access to a good education. They cannot speak English and feel afraid of communicating in English. I am here to help them become suckers for this language because English is a global communication tool in today's world.
To be honest, It's not a piece of cake to live in the countryside. The outbreak of the Covid 19 prevented me from coming back to Saigon. As a result, I am living in Phu Yen for nearly 5 years. However, thanks to that, I had more opportunities to explore more about this province, which consists of a huge number of hidden gems.

I live in a house surrounded by the locals. My house is located in a suburbs in the south of Tuy Hoa City and it is about 15 km from Tuy Hoa to my place. So, you can enjoy the local life here and visit Tuy Hoa City if you want to go. I can suggest you some must-see landscapes of the province. Just immerse yourselves in nature and take a stroll in my area, you will have a lot of fun! Vice versa, I am willing to hear about the precious experience you have in your life so that I can learn new things and meet new friends. Moreover, I am teaching about 200 students who always desire to meet interesting friends from anywhere! So, I hope you can talk to them so that they can practise English.

I am quite busy with my work, so I cannot take you to explore the city and province, but if you can ride the scooters or motorbike, you can borrow one from me.

Another important thing is that my house is not a hotel, so I hope that you will behave well and help me to talk with my students.
