Despite enjoying every corner of the world, I deeply love my city and am truly proud of it. Watch the show to get to know the best part of the island. Welcome to be my guest.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've met many cool couch surfers during my stay in Australia for working holidays. (Sep 2010 ~ May 2011)
It's such good experience meeting locals & living like locals, and best way to discover a city with whom are still curious about everything new & excited about every little thing.

Music, Movies, and Books

[Music]
The National, Elliot Smith, Sea Wolf, Neutral Milk Hotel, Self Fulfilling Prophecies, Sandee Chen, Fanfarlo, The Antlers, The XX, Belle & Sebastian, 万能青年旅店 ...

alternative rock with unique creativeness, charming voice, and beautiful lyrics.

I listen to all kinds of good music according to mood.
"Wish you were here" by "Pink Floyd" is my favorite song whilist i was sitting on a rock, waiting for the sunset in the center of the dessert. You can't miss the sound of the wind blowing in the end of the song!

Chatting with friends in a lovely cafe in a sunny afternoon, I'd love to hear Chet Baker playing trumpet or Bossa Nova by "Lisa Ono", imaging relaxing holidays in a tropical island.

The first Australian indie band i discover is "We all want to". I watched their live performance in a small record shop in St. Kilda. The rich instrumental arrangement reminds me "fanfarlo" and "Beirut". I especially love harmonica, pianica, accordion, tambourine, or stringed instruments participating in live performance of a band.

[Books]
If i'm boarding Noah's Ark, I'll definitely bring the books from my favorite authors "Yoshimoto Banana" & "Haruki Murakami". I read heaps of japanese literature. However, the only book i'm carrying with me during my travelling is "Fountainhead" by "Ayn Rand". How can you not be fasinated by a book about architecture.

[Movies]
I love great stories which might sink your thoughts instead of blockbusters with exciting visual effect. "After sunset", "Before sunrise", "once", "In the mood for love" are the movies I'd like to watch over and over again. However, I enjoy watching "Inception" as well. Take it easy. You can't be serious all the time.

[TV shows]
I'll get bored without American TV shows.
House MD. How I met your mother. Big Bang Theory. My all-time favorite.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

:: done 160km hiking trip of TMB - circling around Mont Blanc by foot is the best hiking trip ever & the best way to appreciate the beauty of the mountains. Besides, great fun to do paragliding in Chamonix!

:: When I BBQ with some friends at beach, there's a guy next to our table starting playing violin as birthday song for his friends. Afterward, he climbed up a tree keeping playing, then showed his butt while playing, then took out his cock, and then took off his pant! Haha, never seen a half-naked violinist in my life. hilarious.

:: drove a boat for fishing with my CS host at great barrier reef. caught 3 fish at the same time in my first ever fishing trip! (Actually in the first 3 mins) Awesome!

:: wrote a camel song in my trip to the Middle East and sang it in front of the camel in the center of desert right after 3 hr camel trekking. You've got to see the camel swing happily to the beats ;p

:: did bungy jumping over Kawarau bridge in New Zealand. fun!

:: completed a full-day glacier walk in Franz Josef Glacier in New Zealand. It's the most beautiful scene I've ever seen in the southern hemisphere!

:: up to highest mountain in Taiwan - Mt. Jade. The cloud sea is the best I've ever seen! fantastic experience.
