Currently working as a programmer in Singapore. I like sports and music, and play computer games sometimes too. I love learning new things, and am currently learning basic MMA. I know a little Korean and Thai, but am not fluent as I've only learnt some of the basics. Currently taking Korean classes to improve my Korean standard as well, with the goal of taking TOPIK I sometime late this year. I enjoy trekking and exploring other countries.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

Dec 2015: Solo trip to Taiwan for 10 days, went to Taipei and Hualien. While it was certainly an enlightening experience to travel alone, during the trip I always wondered, "what if I could meet locals or other travellers to travel around with or even just to talk to and exchange experiences?". Most of my time in Taiwan, I talked to the shop owners at the areas I visited, or my hostel owners, but I would have preferred to make friends with locals and get to know them better! Hence I'm here on Couchsurfing, in the hopes of getting to meet new people and make more friends overseas (:

May 2017: 16 day solo trip in Korea! First time to Korea, and have been wanting to go there for a few years already. Went to Seoul, Jeju and Busan. Really enjoyed this trip as it gave me a chance to practice using my limited Korean haha. Met a few people from Couchsurfing during the trip, and had wonderful memories with them such as watching a baseball game, fishing etc.

March 2018: Going on a 3 day solo trip to Cambodia, then crossing the border into Thailand! Have visited Cambodia twice previously for a few days, so I've seen most of the major touristy places.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

-Travel alone to Taiwan for 10 days! Although I got a little bored after the 3rd or 4th day as I didn't really have anyone to talk to other than a few local shopowners haha. Still, it was a really good experience, and I experienced a lot of hospitality from the Taiwanese.
-Mountain trekking in Malaysia! Extremely memorable experience
-Walked up Keelung Mountain(I guess its considered a mountain?) in Taiwan alone when it was raining, extremely YOLO and scary experience
-16 days solo trip to Korea, with basic knowledge of Korean. Also experienced traffic in Busan, quite memorable hahaha

I could teach you basic Korean or Chinese if you would like, although my Korean is still considered basic. As for Thai, I only learnt half of the alphabet so my Thai proficiency is really limited.
I could teach you a few basic MMA moves if you're interested in this kind of stuff, but I'm still considered a beginner in MMA too.

My travelling experiences, how my country is like and its culture. I can cook a little too, so if you like I could prepare a simple meal for you as well. If you wanna learn MMA or self defence I could teach you a few simple moves as well. I could also teach you simple English/Chinese/Korean phrases if you're interested. I would also bring you a small souvenir from my country. More importantly, I'm here to make friends, and if you ever come to Singapore I would be more than willing to bring you around!
