About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Take my first "surfing"experience in a country I've never been to before!
ABOUT ME
Hi!!!^^ I'm a medical student in Taiwan, and I studied in Yang-Ming Universtity which is located in Taipei. However, my hometown is in Kaohsiung, a city in the Southern part of Taiwan. As you mï½ght guess, I now lives in the dorm. This is the reason why I'm not able to provide couch.><
Nevertheless, I'm getting more familiar with my school and I recently discovered great hiking trials near our campus. There's great views over Taipei and I enjoy it a lot. Send me a message if you would like to get a taste of this "Yang-Ming Hiking trip".
Taipei is a fabulous city for you to explore(Of course, I would recommend you to travel through Taiwan if you have extra time~^^) I love my country, and would be glad to show you around~
PHILOSOPHY
Be happy, and make everyday mean something. When I first got into college, I'm obsessed with investing. I read books concerning economics, listen to podcasts talking about markets, visit websites showing statistics. Yet later on, I gradually have a feeling that money can't buy everything, and neither is it the key to happiness.
Recently, I started to learn about the concept of eco-village and I like it so far. Hope that I have the chance to visit one of them and get to meet the residents.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I first found out CS at a blog of a traveler in Taiwan. She went around the world in 80 days with a cost of a mere 10,000NTD(appx. 350USD.) In her stories, she mentioned her wonderful experience of couch surfing. From then on, I was thinking about the same thing. Going around the world, making new friends, and definitely, welcoming friends to my hometown!^^
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
So far, my couch surfing experience are pretty "local". I join CS gatherings and sometimes couch surf after that! Since the night life in Taipei is so fun! I've never tried it abroad, though. And I really want to to that in the future!!!
Interests
I'm good at sports that use rackets.XD For example, ping-pong, badminton, tennis are some sports that I enjoy. Also, I play the piano for several years and it's one of my hobbies.
Most of all, traveling would surely become my bigest interest~I've been to about 20 countries so far.(But they're usually with tour groups, so they wouldn't be that fun compared with CS! )
Now I develop another hobby: Tap Dancing! I really love it and will keep practicing until I'm good for performance.(Or showing off~lol)

Music, Movies, and Books
Well, I enjoy listening to all kinds of music~ Yet, there are still a few bands or singers that are my favorites! For example, I like the Fray, especially one of their songs which pop up in the Grey's Anatomy---How to save a life. Ha, and I'm trying to sing Bon Jovi's songs without hurting my throat too much lol!
Movies...I enjoy all sorts of movies, but gradually feeling tired of the Hollywood ones.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
It was a flight from Taiwan to England. I was waking up from my window seat and feeling a bit dizzy, I opened the shield of the window...and there it is...the most beautiful sunset I've seen. So many colors and they blend perfectly. Probably the most beautiful view I've seen so far.
Teach, Learn, Share
TEACH:What can I, a student, teach? >< Ummm...Well, since Chinese is my mother tongue so I would be capable of teaching that. Though, I wouldn't be an experienced tutor, haha. Oh! As I mentioned above, I'm good at several popular sports(tennis, badminton, and ping-pong), so, that would be a few things that I can also teach.^^
Learn:New knowledge and excitements.I mean, simply couch surfing will be a fantastic way of learning~~~
