I’m a 24 year old philosophy student and ceramicist from Ghent, Belgium.
Aside from studying and working I enjoy spending time with my friends, my cat or myself :)
I’m a self-proclaimed baker and lover of food, good conversation, exploring cities, meeting new people and exchanging ideas.
In an attempt to broaden my horizons and enrich my life I downloaded couchsurfing, so I’m excited to see if this brings to my next great adventure!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I find that staying with locals really enhances my travelling experiences and teaches me things I could have never learned when travelling ‘traditionally’. Through my travels (volunteering, …) I’ve met so many interesting people from all paths of life who stay with me in spirit long after my trip has ended.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love indie and alternative music (think: Jeff Buckley, Fleetwood Mac, Khruangbin, The Smiths, The Strokes, …) but am up for anything really! I’m a huge lover of film (I watch multiple a week) and love to read (but don’t do it as much as I would want to). One of my favourite movies is Little Miss Sunshine, and one of my favourite books is Siddhartha by Herman Hesse. Current read is ‘All about love’ from Bell Hooks!

I love anything creative (all types of mediums) and spend a lot of my time doing pottery. I love to cook and in general I wouldn’t mind exchanging our skills or learning new things from each other when we meet!
