ABOUT ME

I'm YeonJu Ryu. I'm an university Student, majoring in Electronic Engineering and Chinese languages.
I am also a teacher teaching mathematics and science. It's a kind of part time job.
I live in Songdo which is an international city in Incheon, Korea. It has very beautiful view.
I like to travel all around the world and make friends from all the different countries.
I love eating food, feeling culture, and looking at exotic landscapes.
I'm friendly, open-minded and have good manners.

PHILOSOPHY

I think life is too short to experience everything that I want to do. I try my best to do something right away when it appears on my mind such as yoga, jiusitsu, learning foreign languages, sudden traveling etc. What I really count is 'manners.' Even if you are old or young, manners to other people is very important especially when you require someone's favor. It doesn't need to be so serious but only an expression of appreciation or apology makes things very different in good ways.

Perché sono iscritto su Couchsurfing

When I was planning on traveling to Germany during Octoberfest, one of my old friend living in Germany introduced me Couchsurfing. Before that time I have never heard about it. And then, I found out it is very cool that I meet and make new friend in other countries, and share our stories with them. It is a lot better to understand there's culture if I have friends there who spend time with me (even though it's only dinner time.)

I lived in united states for an exchange student for an year. At that time I was only 15-years-old. This made me enjoy the experiences of people from all different kinds of countries.

(We have such a big couch in living room, and sometimes spare room)
I can teach you Korean and Chinese languages.
I want to learn your culture and whatever you want to teach me.

My best friend Yelim, who I'm traveling with, has 'black belt' qualification of Taekwondo(which is traditional Korean martial art.) She would be very glad to teach you Taekwonde.

I'm trying to provide Korean food If you want. Such as Korean noodles.
I can recommend some spots you can visit, give you tips like how to buy subway tickets and so on.

**What I want to say to people who chose to travel Korea**
Welcome to Korea! Korea is very good country to travel especially for a girl who is traveling alone, because it is very safe country no gun, no drug, lights from all the street even in dawn. Even though I cannot meet you up or host you, you can free to send me a message for help or recommendation.
