ABOUT ME

I'm energetic, love kids, and get a kick out of traveling and exploring! I have 8 siblings and a ton of aunts, uncles, and cousins throughout the world. If I can impact the world in one way, I would love to eliminate money, because it's the reason why there are sooooo many limitations in life.

I am Hmong American. My parents immigrated to the USA in 1989 to escape war in Laos. They are refugees of Thai Refugee camps. Lots of history here if you'd like to know more; just ask :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

For my backpacking trip through Europe in July 2016 with my sister. It's a jam packed itinerary, but we're excited to meet new people all over Europe.

Interests

I love to be with kids, watch movies on Netflix, hike and explore the outdoors, and challenge my fears. I greatly enjoy hearing stories, folklores, and history. I am a huge community advocate on social issues as well.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One amazing thing I've done is studying aboard in Argentina and France. It was amazing to experience living with a host mom for 3.5 weeks.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach the Hmong language, cultures, and traditions. I can share food and stories. I love learning so any skills you have, I'd love to know!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can teach you the culture, language, and traditions of my small ethnic tribe from South East Asia, share my life stories, and tell awesome ghost stories.
