I offered a couch surfer a couch. I wasn't actually a part of the site yet... I personally have slept on a kitchen floor, maybe I joined the wrong site.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music-wise, pretty much everything, seriously. I'll happily watch & listen to an orchestra as much as I'll enjoy watching guys with face paint scream obscenities at their audience all while playing their instruments with maximum distortion.
If I'm at a cinema there's a good chance I'll enjoy whatever movie is playing.
I have an enormous array of books whose pages remain unread...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've done and seen a couple of really memorable things in my lifetime, however small to other people, that I think are absolutely amazing.
- trained in the Taekwondo world headquarters, Kukiwon, in Seoul, South Korea
- Overlooked Vancouver from the top of Cypress mountain on a beautifully clear winter morning.
- fallen off a cliff at Lake Louise without an injury
- being stalked by elk, while hiking through thick forest and snow in Banff while delivering a Christmas package from Australia
- being able to read a book while sitting next to a waterfall in an area close to civilisation, but being far enough that not many people know it
