Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
I am looking to establish myself here in Brooklyn, New York for a few years, and am looking for the right place to settle down with the right job to support my stay here.
ABOUT ME
I am an off-beat and subtle guy, that loves to relate with people from different cultures all around the world. After five years of living in Guatemala, where I worked with the Peace Corps in the indigenous Mayan communities, the stories have kind of run their course, and I am now back stateside. At 34 years of age, I long to ground myself down in one location and to make a living for myself. I will always be an outdoor enthusiast though, and love to go on spontaneous journeys into nature.
With that said, I do love the movement of the city, and find myself enthused about future opportunities in New York. I practice massage, and travel with my massage table offering massage exchanges . I offer free massage to my hosts, as well as delicious meals that I cook, in exchange for allowing me a place to rest my head for the night.
PHILOSOPHY
Surrender to the flow...give more than you receive, for what you give is returned back to you full force.
The truth is out there, and the more we listen to ourselves in our relations with others, the more clear our truth becomes.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
My favorite way to participate in Couchsurfing is by hosting other couch surfers. Yet now-a-days I am more of the couch surfing type, searching for a home to base myself temporarily while finding the right place for myself to settle down.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have been a member of couchsurfing for 9 years now and have surfed couches in a number of different countries. Never have had a bad experience with surfing couches before, and love the eclectic mix of sufers and hosts that populate this site.

Teach, Learn, Share
I enjoy spending time with those people who are open-minded and friendly, with a non-judgemental perspective that makes engaging conversation inevitable. The truth, as I see it, is that we have something to learn from everybody.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I offer my hosts free massages, delicious breakfasts and/or dinners, as well as good company, and an ear to eagerly listen and a hand to help out with whatever needs to be done (are there any dishes to be washed?).
