About Me

"Fill your life with experiences, not things. Have stories to tell, not stuff to show"

I'm a 35 year-old woman who loves travelling and having access to different languages and cultures. Some of my best memories about my trips have something to do with Couchsurfing.
I am an English teacher from a small city in Argentina, but in 2020 I decided to leave that life and go make a dream come true. I lived in Amsterdam for a year and my life has changed a lot since then. Definitely one of the best decisions I've ever made was to leave the "Comfort Zone". Since I left NL, at the beginning of 2021, I've been a bit of a nomad. Well... WE've been nomads. My husband and I.
I like dancing, making crafts, meeting friends and having new projects. I love nature and I think we must do everything we can to preserve it for future generations.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on Couchsurfing because I think cultural exchange is wonderful. Our world is amazing, and the people who live here are extremely diverse. I believe we should all have the chance to know more about how other cultures live, either by travelling or by meeting tourists or visitors. And, of course, making friends around the world is awesome!

Music, Movies, and Books

I like listening to all types of music, I like dancing Salsa and latin american styles.
My favourite books so far are "The Hunger Games", "The Girl On The Train", "The Lake House".
I'm not a big fan of movies, but I like thrillers.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Quitting my job and leaving everything I knew to live in The Netherlands on a Working Holiday Visa.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love learning aspects of other cultures and languages. I've learnt a lot from Couchsurfers! CS has also taught me not to be afraid of the world :)

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share a nice time, good conversation and my willingness to help. I can help you with Spanish if you're learning it and of course I'll tell you everything you want to know about my country.
