ABOUT ME

Oh boy, how complex we all are, eh? I will go completely insane if I don't get in a car with a map and a few friends every few years and just GO. The OnTheRoad mentality creates magic!!!

Instead about me, i'll describe what my home for crashers has to offer.

I live in walking distance of downtown Ann Arbor. A five minute drive or short bike ride to the Huron River which is mighty and magical and welcomes me in with a nice cool swim almost everyday.

I have 3 people roommates and four canine roommates. Two couches, and a really nice queen size blow up mattress, but I can't seem to find that dang hole in it. Also, a giant tent has been set up in the backyard if folks want their own "room."

It' summer time...I'm far too busy outside for movies and books!

Music...I'm currently rediscovering old mixed tapes from right after high school graduation.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I think my first real eye opener was when I was 18 on the Amazon river in Peru. We were miles from any village, and there was a hand carved canoe with 3 children. The oldest couldn't have been older than 10. They were all alone, with machettes and spear fishing. And in the United States we can't give first graders scissors without freaking out!
