Before making decision to stay, I have listed 5 quick questions below for all Couchsurfing guests to answer. I’d like to get to know you a little more before we decide to stay.

The 5 questions I'd ask all the guests:
1. Would you describe your top 2 joyful experiences?
2. Would you describe your ideal jobs?
3. Do you (or the friend coming with you) smoke? (I'd be unable host smokers unless you promise to follow strict rules* on smoking listed below)
4. What kind of songs do you like?
5. What do you like to do for fun?

It'd also be helpful to have a 5 minute video chat or connect on social media first to get to know each other.

House Cleaning Rules:
In order to have a clean room for every guest, all guests must take all their bed sheet, pillow sheet, and blanket sheet to the washing machine and dryer at the end of their stay. After they're dry, put them back for the next couchsurfer so every surfer has clean sheets.

Traveling, flying drones, driving fast cars, dancing, and speaking in public

*Strict rules on smoking:
1. Never smoke at the house
2. Never smoke at the house yard

(I have loved public speaking since I was a 6 year old when teacher asked who wanted to volunteer to read an article in class. I'd always raise my hand as high as i can to speak in front of the class. After I came to America in high school from China, my passion for public speaking even overcame the language barrier. At the beginning, my English was so bad that I couldn't talk with Americans. But after less than 2 years of high school, I won the 1st place in public speaking in the State tournament (beating hundreds of native English speakers) as well as Student Government President election :)
