Why I’m on Couchsurfing
"Constantly talking isn't necessarily communicating."
---Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind.
As a student studying media and communications, I'm very interested in thinking about the way people communicate. I feel relatively passive about how effectively people could communicate. I don't think there'a big chance, because of technology and because people are getting more and more impatient - they do not tend to spend much time with a person.
However through Couchsurfing, I really get to know these people who are keen to share real conversations and emotions. We talk and talk, exchange ideas, and discuss about everything.
That's why I appreciate Couchsurfing - it provides me with a platform to meet people from all over the world, to meet people with kind hearts and interesting ideas.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
On an unusual lovely sunny day, I started a random conversation with my neighbor Steve when I was studying in Nottingham, UK. Later on Steve, his wife Jenny and their dog Cassie became my best friends in the UK. We invited each other over for English and Chinese dinner, and we still keep in touch with each other after I came back to China. They are like another family of mine.
