Hello, my name is Yevhenii. In Ukraine all friends call me Zhenia, however, in France, in France, they find it difficult, so I become Yev.
I am a student of master degree of chemistry both in Kyiv and in Toulouse.
I am living with my girlfriend, Inga, and there is a great chance that we are travelling together. We will be happy to host you in our apartment, if we are at home during this period!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I believe that main problem of travelling - it's a place under the roof. I find, that couchurfing, beside sleeping place, give you the opportunity to find new friends, dive into the culture. Something like this.
Also, I see, that we are missing trust in people. I think that couchsurfing is wonderful opportunity to return it!

Interests

Since I was a child, I love nature. So starting from 10 years I was traveling with my backpack in the mountains of Ukraine. However, I never climbed the highest mountain of Ukraine - Goverla. Paradox isn't it? I really like this kind of vacations. Nature, fire, tents. I believe that in situations like this you can truly understand what kind of person your friend is.
Later, I also started a speleology trips. Caves are amazing. They so gorgeous and quiet. Miss them very much.
I am always waiting for winter due to my passion to snowboard. Can't imagine my life without it now. Difficult to say that I am pro, but each year I improve my skills.
2 years ago I obtain my first (hope that not last) diving certificate. I can tell you, that underwater world very similar to the caves - quiet and with this own life.
And I like reading and watching films. Don't understand people who go to a cinema without popcorn. And if I start watch film in home, don't like to do anything else during this ( like studying, cleaning, whatever) If I watch - I watch.
Also, I hope one day start my collection of exotic pets, like lizard, spider, snake, probably something else. Really looking forward for a day, when I will have my permanent room.

Music, Movies, and Books

I prefer rock, metal, folk music. But, if I have right mood, I will listen pop or electro as well.
Books. Difficult. Generally, it's fantasy. But could be something else. Currently I am reading King's books.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Caves. Underwater. It's really beautiful. Hard to explain how beautiful it is.
Also, once, I was swimming in winter river in Austria, and then ran without clothes and shoes to my home under the snow. And other guy was throwing a petards under my legs) that was funny)

Teach, Learn, Share

Since I am a tourist guy, I can teach you some useful knots. Also, if you are teaching east Europe languages, I can try help you (particularly Ukrainian and Russian). If a trip will be during the winter, I can teach you snowboarding. And try to help you with gear.
I really would like to be a master and know how to work with wood, metal, glass. So if you know something about it and need help, you can count on me, I will help you with pleasure.
