Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Having travelled more recently, I noticed that you meet some of the kindest people and have the most interesting conversations with strangers in new countries. Hence, I feel that couchsurfing is an awesome platform to meet new pals whilst experiencing the local life in new places!

Interests

I really enjoy reading and will reading everything I can get my hands unto, even materials in foreign languages (I'll try!) Geographers go places! Travelling allows the things I have learnt and read to be experienced and seen in the flesh! I love exploring off the beaten track and am interested in the world around us (I love my physical and human geographies equally!) I would definitely love to learn a new skill or experience a new activity (whatever you throw at me!)

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: I am open to most genres of music. I enjoy instrumental and country music alot. I try to learn music I enjoy on the Piano, but oh, too many pieces, too little time

Movies: I really love animated films, and those that remind me of life (Forrest Gump, Three Idiots, About Time). If I were to be greedy, I do re-watch Star Wars and Lord of the Rings yearly

Books: I read everything I get can get my hands on. Seriously. I have fallen in love with local literature recently, checking out eclectic bookstores for their select offerings (think of Booktique and Booksactually in Singapore, Ganesha Bookstore in Bali)
