Music, Movies, and Books

books - italo calvino, roland barthes, hemingway, ursula k le guin and much besides.
movies - anything by korean director hong sang-soo, dolls by kitano takeshi, royal tenenbaums, ghost world, oh dear, listing is hard. i watch a lot of movies and chew on them.
music - pop rock electronica idm folk indie anything. personal favorites include mandalay, sarah mclachlan, pet shop boys, beth orton, the beatles, iron and wine, postal service, cibo matto, sean lennon, ego-wrappin', sigur ros, celtic folk singers and the like. this kind of list really won't put me anywhere i suppose...

in the plains of mongolia: rain and lightning to the west, sunshine and clear sky in the east, and a rainbow ahead of me. ahh...
