About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To see as much of the world as humanly possible.
ABOUT ME
I finished my studies ac ouple of years ago and I've just been going with the flow since then :-). I was working as an ESL teacher in France for a couple of years but decided shortly after to travel the world! I started in South East Asia and I''m now going to work my way across the world !
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I've had some really cool couchsurfing experiences and it all started during my ERASMUS year in Santiago de Compostela. I lived with 7 amazing people from all over Europe and one of my flatmates decided to host people in our apartment when we could and there was never a dull moment! I've managed to host a few people in France but hoping to host some more once i settle somewhere :)
Interests
I used to do a crazy amount of sport when I was still in school which i really miss! I did field hockey, badminton, gymnastics, athletics (long jump), cross country, I enjoy running (kind of- I like the after feeling!), trying new sports, hiking, travelling...does eating count?

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: I enjoy a HUUUUGE range of music and am usually open to new genres.
Books: A thousand splendid suns has to be one of my favourite books. The 100 year old man who crawled out a window and disappeared, the five people you meet in heaven.
Films: I love comedies, dramas, thrillers... I hate horror movies though. I refuse to watch them!
I love Woody Allen films, Pedro Almodovar films, Quentin Tarantino...the list goes on!
500 days of summer, Forgetting Sarah Marshall, Shutter Island, Crazy,Stupid Love, Love Actually, Gladiator, The Departed, ...this is just to name a few.
As for French movies I loooved intouchables (who didn't though!) Les petits mouchoirs, Jeux d'enfance, Amelie, Les Héritiers, ...i probably watch a new French film once a week.
And I love independent films as well...or those weird films that you don't quite understand so you're left analysing the symbolism of the film.
So yeah, basically I'm a huge film fan!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Well passing my driving test was a miracle so I'm putting that up there with my accomplishments... I walked 100km of the camino de Santiago, in torrential rain. on my own in 2013- that was interesting. I hope to walk the entire camino one day though :)
I snorkelled between two tectonic plates in Iceland, in the middle of winter which was so cool (pun intended) It was -2*C in the water and I'd never been so cold in my entire life but it was so worth it!
This a "TBC" list :)
Teach, Learn, Share
I reeeeally want to learn to play a musical instrument :) I have literally just started learning how to play the guitar but I need some practice! I enjoy sharing stories about travelling and of course if you need to practice English, then I'm your gal.
