About Me

CURRENT MISSION
I've always wanted to explore South America, it's the most distant continent from Taiwan!
So I decided to quit my job and have a gap year, all because I desire to see South America so much!
The journey starts on Jan. 2018 in Peru.
The rough plan is going counterclockwise and trying to visit as many places as I can. But you know, travel plans always change so I look forward to any possibilities :)
Wish me luck :D

ABOUT ME

Love making friends.
Love trying new things.
Love chatting about cultural differences.

Just graduated from medical school, wish to live more than just a doctor.
Life has many possibilities and I want to make the most of it.
The world is big, and it's lucky for us to know each other here.
So, let's make friends :)

Here's my Facebook fan page, which records my trips! Still Keep updating!

PHILOSOPHY

Don't dread to aim high!
Face the light, and the shadow is behind.
What I learn the most from traveling is, never judge any person or anything before you actually know them! Sounds easy but not many people can do that! All the fights, anger, fear, hatred and discrimination mainly come from misunderstanding. Unfamiliar things make us scared, and the best way to stop that is starting to meet more people. That's why I keep traveling :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I think meeting people, locals or travelers, is what makes my trip valuable. It's not the astonishing scenery, not the delicious food, not the cute souvenirs, it's the interaction with other people that would be the most unforgettable! And Couchsurfing provides an excellent way to know more about other people and see different cultures and, most importantly, to respect!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My initial experience of CS was in Japan, where I meet a nice person who showed me around Tokyo.
The first time I tried staying overnight was in Turkey! It's definitely an unforgettable experience, since I encountered a fraud, a traffic accident and a sexual harassment during that trip, which totally teach me a lesson! However, nothing can stop me from exploring the world, and I believe what I've been through will turn into nutrition of my life, and makes it more colorful.
Besides, I tried WWOOF in Japan twice and Helpx in Norway once. They are quite similar to CS in some way. In WWOOF, I work for the farmers and they provide food and bed. In Helpx, I stayed with a gay couple and help them in a hotel kitchen. Both experiences are super wonderful! I love talking to people from other countries!

Interests

Learning new cultures, and language as well.
Love singing, though maybe not very good at it LOL.
Love animals, I can watch them all day haha.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My trip to Turkey in 2016 summer was definitely the most unforgettable traveling experience of my life. I've been through local fraud, traffic accident(which broke my arm), sexual harassment by a wicked host, and missing my return plane. It's not my first time to travel alone, but this calamitous trip taught me a lesson. I'm glad to share those weird, stupid and somewhat funny stories with you :)

Teach, Learn, Share

I love to learn different culture and languages. It will be wonderful if I can learn cooking in your style.

Some medical advice as well.
