ABOUT ME

My name is Yi-Yun Ho, I am 27 years old. I come from Miaoli,Taiwan. From childhood until now, all the teachers and classmates gave the comments for me which including cheerful, optimistic, positive, enthusiastic and easy-going. The positive impact was from my family which made me have a good relationship in studying and working. I left my hometown to study in different city since I am a senior high school student; therefore, the experiences shape my characteristic as a independent and courageous person.
Now I am a volunteer in Germany.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

This is my first time to participate in the couch surfing, I want to know a lot of friends, we can East-West cultural exchange, and of course, I hope that can host you in Taiwan.

Interests

I am interesting in reading. The books obtain energy and inspiration from philosophical or inspirational books which help me faced the obstacles in my life. ‘Reading ten thousand books is not as useful as travelling ten thousand miles.’ Travelling also an essential part in my life, I could realise different local customs, food and arts via travelling. It would make me open-minded and have different view in work and life.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Unarmed cracking the glass doors cut into the main artery of my right hand, after surgery also played clarinet, but hospitalized a month when I was 12 years old.

I graduated from National Pingtung University of Education and I majored in music, I am playing clarinet. I have worked as a teacher in Ju Percussion Music School for one year and also gave percussion classes in Taiwan Fund for Children and Families (Miaoli area), Miaoli County Hsin Miao Private Development Center for Disadvantages People and Holy Family for Special Education during 2011 to 2012. And I was an office holder who was working in Miaoli County Business Council. I participates some performance with music groups such as youth orchestral or symphony in the free time.
