As a child I was the quiet serious one who came home from the library every week with a new stack of books to read. I set up a bird feeder outside of my window and got birds to eat out of my hand. One summer I stayed with my cousins on a farm in CA and learned how to milk goats.

My traveling started in high school with choir tours. In college I went on European Quarter and it was amazing! I am fascinated by cultures and languages, and appreciated the opportunity to speak French in France. Years later, I still keep in touch with someone I met backpacking through Europe post-college.

The most important journey is the interior one we all take while traveling through life. How well do you know the contours of your own soul?

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I support the idea of community building and connections that couch surfing emulates. I have friends who have had very positive experiences with surfing/surfers.

While not couch surfing as facilitated by this site, when I was hard-core into the lindy scene I went to a number of lindy exchanges around the country and stayed with fellow dancers. Also hosted some when it was Seattle's turn.
