My name is Ifan and I am a Canadian student doing my master in Amsterdam. I am very open minded so i am always up for explore new ideas, new cultures and go on new adventures. I think couchsurfing is an unique opportunity to meet people from all over the world and connect with people that you would otherwise never had the chance to meet.

I am really interested in sustainability and nature and likes to have deep conversations about politics, philosophy and economics. I also like practicing yoga and meditation and explore the spiritual side of human existence. One of my biggest passion is doing outdoor sports and being out in the nature and I always find a sense of calmness when I am out in the mountains. I am also quite obsessed with tea and cooking, so i would like to learn new ideas and recipes from other parts of the world and I would also love to make food and tea for my guests and enjoy them in good company.

I see life as more than just running the rat wheel and you should always find more meaningful things to do with your life. Also I believe in building genuine connections with people, instead of shallow interactions. I can show you around the city when I have the time and I am always down for some drinks and just chill. I have a pretty laid back personality so if you want to do your own exploring it's fine with me as well.

Ski touring up to snow covered mountains and skiing down from there while appreciating how small we are in compare to the nature. Also that was some of the best powder skiing I ever done in my life.
