About Me
(Call me Ellie or Yige, both are ok)
22-year-old student in Paris. I grew up in a small city in China and did my bachelor in Beijing, China. Now I'm doing my master's degree in Paris, France. I love traveling.
I read every host's profile carefully before I send a message. Usually I write a long message with a brief self introduction and the reason I want to be your guest. Please don't stop reading it just because it's long. =)
I try to be a couchsurfer with good manners. Usually I send a request and then wait. Would never send a lot of request (in fact so far I send one at a time).
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I've been using airbnb since I started travelling because usually I travel with my friends, so it might be difficult to enjoy couch surfing. But now I want to try it! :) But since now I'm living in Paris with a very small apartment (without couch), I can't host travelers at this moment. I would like to start hosting travelers maybe after I start working. Maybe I will have a bigger apartment then...
My hosts so far:
(I'm excited because I just got two acceptances!! So I'm gonna list all my CS experiences from now on. Will get approval from hosts before I record my experience here)

Music, Movies, and Books
Oh there's so many.... I find it extremely hard to define "favorite". I love any movie with a touching or weird or funny story. Recently I fall in love with musicals!!
There is one favorite that I'm sure of: I'm a fan of Real Madrid. I went to a Real Madrid match two years ago (Real Madrid - Barcelona). Cost me a lot. But enjoyed very much.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I'm modest and I'm not used to saying nice things about myself hahaha... Maybe an exchange semester in France and now I'm back here in Paris for master's program.
Teach, Learn, Share
I am learning French and I find it difficult=( Maybe it's because my mother tongue is so different from it. I plan to learn Spanish after I can speak French fluently (probably will be a long time from now).
I love watching football matches. I'm not an expert in analyzing the match but still I can enjoy the atmosphere. When I was living in China I need to wake up at 2 or 3 o'clock in the morning to see a football match. It's hard I know but I always manage to wake up. I'm proud of that. =)
I'm not a good cook but I'm can make many easy and delicious dishes.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I will bring a small Chinese handcraft gift to my host :) Also I can cook Chinese food. Also anything about China, the language, the culture, even cooking skills...
