About Me

A dynamic and versatile thinker and explorer with a warm heart and a cool head.

PHILOSOPHY

The world is a book, and those who do not travel, read only a page - Saint Augustine

"Twenty years from now, you will be more disappointed by the things you did not do than by the things you did do. So, throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbour. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover."
-Mark Twain-

Allow yourself to dream big and then set out to turn your dream into reality.
Live now as you dont know what will happen tomorrow!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love stories, both sharing and listening to. Everyone has different lives and backgrounds which make them become unique. After my first backpacking in Thailand, I heard of CS on a famous backpackers' website. I read their rich stories and found out that there exits a interesting and amazing way to know, exchange, and get along with people all around the world. I was helped a lot (no matter during the trips or daily life, so I hope, as I have the ability and time, I am willing to help and share with others.

My Couchsurfing Experience

What I learned most from CS is TRUST.
I had a wonderful beginning of CS from south Korea, before I started my trip in Europe. No matter in Seoul, Germany, France, southern Asia and even my hometown Taiwan, I always meet warm and generous friends of CS. The specialty lays on all CS seems share the same value to be open-minded, easy going and willing to embrace difference of cultures. I do appreciate for that. Some of my hosts become my close friends and keep in touch with each other until now from time to time. And what we experienced together make ppl keep on mind for long, though there was just some daily things.
