Overview
About Me
I'm currently studying in the UK and just started my own business.
People usually describe me as a polite, respectful and open-minded person with a wide range of hobbies.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Growing up I realised the world is full of people with interesting but yet very different minds. Unfortunately we only get to meet a tiny proportion of human beings on this planet.
I'm here to understand more about other people's philosophy, culture, learn more about the local lifestyles and let people I met understand more about the intriguing and unique Chinese culture. And more importantly, to create some mutually pleasant memories.
Interests
International student, entrepreneur, extreme sports enthusiast, amateur musician, photographer, huge foodie.
I'm deeply in love with the underwater world and would like to protect it with every effort, which is why I learned scuba diving and became an advanced open water diver, and planning on becoming a rescue diver next summer.
As an amateur musician who loves multiple genres of music, I've been playing the piano for more than 14 years(since I was 5) and singing since I was able to speak.
Photography really attracted me a lot. It is a lifestyle to carry a heavy DSLR and a Gopro to wander around the world and record the most memorable moments.
And what I have been absorbed in for my life is culture and communication -- part of the reason why I'm here!

Music, Movies, and Books
Spent most of my childhood learning and listening to classical music, currently producing lofi, appreciating all genres as an adult (jazz, bossa nova, blues in particular)
As for books, I'm at the stage of broadly absorbing new ideology and stories, so there's plenty of books I find insightful. (Maugham, Camus, Murakami Haruki....)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
There are things I've done that I would categorise as 'funny' but perhaps not that 'amazing'. Maybe we've got different criteria and let's find out how you think😁
Teach, Learn, Share
Would love to learn anything new, spend time with interesting people and share our stories and cultures.
I would be more than happy to teach Chinese Mandarin, and if possible, some authentic Chinese cuisines!
What I Can Share with Hosts
Unique Chinese culture & language points that are hard to be read/heard from elsewhere, my travel stories, and sometimes Chinese food.
