My teacher once told me that life is like a book — it’s boring without the ups and downs. If that’s true, then my life must be a bestseller, packed with more plot twists than a soap opera😄

I studied law, but somewhere along the way, I ended up wearing a bunch of different hats — lawyer, dishwasher, breakfast cook, fisherwoman, farmer, hostel owner, and even a river cruise receptionist. With all these career changes, I’ve gained a lot of experience, but no skills 😅

On the bright side, I’ve been lucky in other ways. I’m absolutely passionate about animals and have had the chance to work with some seriously cool creatures: tapirs, anteaters, anacondas, coatis, ocelots, jaguarundis, toucans, crocodiles, alpacas, sharks, giant stingrays, turtles, dolphins, pandas, and sled dogs — just to name a few!

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

I rented a manual car alone (even though I hadn’t driven one in over ten years) and drove along South Africa’s Garden Route to visit a national park and see the animals. I cried when I saw zebras crossing in front of my rental car — it was a dream come true.

Couchsurfing only asks for ONE amazing thing I’ve done, but somehow people are out here writing entire novels about their “life-changing” adventures. I’m following the rules and sticking to just one—no need to overwhelm you with too much awesomeness, right? 😜

But hey, if you’re really dying to hear about all the other “incredible” things I’ve done, you’ll just have to meet up with me. I’m pretty sure the live version is way more entertaining than reading my bio 😎
