ABOUT ME

Hello fellow Couchsurfers,

My name is Yip van den Berg, I am 26 years old and live in the Netherlands. I finished my Bachelor in Psychology and now I am looking for what to do. My goal for now is to get an English teaching degree and work abroad for a while. Experiencing new cultures and meeting new people has always been something I thouroughly enjoy, but something I have not done near enough. My account has been to scarcely used, while I have co-couchsurfed a lot during a month travel with a good friend.

Time to change that!

Meeting locals has always been such a good experience and Couchsurfing is just such a great way to achieve that. My love for psychology mostly comes forth out the interactions with other people. Real interactions that go a bit deeper than the normal conversations, always like to know the 'why' behind some answers people give. The answers to that question always tend to give you a better image of the person you are interacting with.

The people I met via Couchsurfing have been some of the most inspiring persons, so I want to be more active in this community.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Seeing the Saint Peter in Rome, really amazing building.
Traveling to Dalat, Vietnam by scooter, such a beautiful trip.
