Not only to save money on the accommodation while traveling, but also to know people from around the world and get into their cultures.
Had a several couchsurfing experiences in South Korea and New Zealand. Hosted by one of the best people I've met on my trips.

- bungy 134m
- hiking Tongariro Northern Circuit in winter for 4 days
- Franz Joseph Glacier hiking
- did the first ever snowboarding in NZ and able to snowboarding at the intermediate level by 3rd time
