About Me

I just finished my master's studies in International Environmental studies. As I live alone in a flat with an extra room for the moment, I might be able to help fellow travelers out with a place to crash if the dates add up

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think couchsurfing can be a beautiful way to travel and meet people. I like the concept and have mostly good experiences with it. So far I have couchsurfed Amsterdam, Thessaloniki and Budapest. In Thessaloniki I actually ended up living with my future roomie for many months after having couchsurfed at her place!

I am interested in environmental studies, international relations, geopolitics, history, political ecology, +

Music, Movies, and Books

I am really into degrowth and literature relevant to that. I.e.: 'How to Do Nothing: Resisting the Attention Economy', Odell, 'Ape and Essence', Huxley, 'Limits: Why Malthus Was Wrong and Why Environmentalists Should Care', Kallis, 'Bullshit Jobs: A Theory', Graeber, 'Dyrene i Afrika', Loe, 'Giovanni's room', Baldwin

I like absurd movies. To mention some that I like: After Work, Triangle of Sadness, Härlig är jorden, The Square, Il conformista, La Grande Bellezza, Isle of Dogs, City of God, The Talented Mr. Ripley, Et glass til, Le fabuleux destin d'Amélie Poulain

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you about Norway and give local insights into the capital and other places to go. As I enjoy going climbing and to museums, I'd always be up for that. Additionally I am interested in languages and would be happy to learn more
