Overview
About Me
I was born in Karachi, Pakistan where I lived for 14 years. After that my family migrated to Southern California, where I lived for a little while. I later moved to the east coast of the US for college and work. Then, I lived in Vegas for 6 years where I got married. Now, we are back in California!
In between moving and living in different places, studying, and working, I have tried to travel. I am very lucky to have married my wife who enjoys traveling equally, but with a different taste. She has become a couchsurfing convert and is often more enthusiastic about hosting than I am.
We would both like to think that we are silly and like to enjoy a good laugh, as well as a serious conversation. We only enjoy trivial conversations as long as they are in fun.
The one thing that I would really like to learn is playing a musical instrument (My wife would like to learn another language). I can't count the number of hours I spend listening to music in any given week, let alone my short life, and still, I know so little about it.
PHILOSOPHY
Education is path to humility. The more one is educated, the more he/she ought to realize the meagerness of his/herself.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Besides hosting and surfing on others' couches, we try to spread the word around to as many people as possible about couchsurfing.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Have been a member of couchsurfing since 2009. We have hosted several people and have stayed with couchsurfers in Colombia, Mexcio, US, Germany, Iceland, Czech Republic, amongst many other places.
Interests
Reading, exploring, traveling, cooking, meeting new people, learning languages, and learning about different cultures. My passion is teaching and my wife's passion is in advertising. I rather read a book and though my wife loves fiction, she rather watch a good movie in her spare time.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The most amazing thing I have done during traveling is not through sight-seeing/activity, but rather the people that I have been introduced to. I have met many amazing people through my travel experiences. The hospitality that I have experienced has had a profound affect on me and I attempt to practice those lessons-learned in my daily life.
