About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Becoming a more flexible and fluid person.

ABOUT ME

My friends say I have an odd choice in clothing style, but what do they know?

I'm an enthusiastic and open-minded guy. I'm constantly on the lookout to try new things. I'm now in a phase in my life where I feel like I want to see as much from the world as possible and meet new people. In the end, the things you end up not doing is what you'll regret the most.

In my daytime job I used to work as a creative in advertising. At the moment I'm travelling around the world.

PHILOSOPHY

“Man suffers only because he takes seriously what the gods made for fun.”
― Alan W. Watts

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because I'd love to meet new people and get an insight in their life, their culture and hear their perspective on things. I also heard great stories from my friends.

Interests

Taking nature walks, videogames, meditation, yoga, reading, travelling and trying out new dishes.

Teach, Learn, Share

I want to learn everything that there is to learn, but at the moment I'm really interested in the way other people live their lives. So I want to know about their customs, their dishes and the things they do in their spare time. I also love to hear any (travel) stories. I'm always open for (philosophical) debate about things. It's by leaving your own comfort zone you learn the most!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I have some skills that I can teach. I've been a professional chess and statistics teacher. I can also teach English, Dutch, a bit of Photoshop & meditation techniques.
