About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Making the most of the time I have.

ABOUT ME

I do computer work for trade, but my real loves are dancing, travel and reading. I live in the bay area and love it here, though there's a heck of a lot of the world I haven't seen yet. My boyfriend and I have a house with a birdfeeder in front and we love watching the birds flock around it. I still stay out late sometimes for special events, but as I get older I appreciate sleep and early bedtimes much more.

PHILOSOPHY

I've spent the last few years working on myself a lot, which has been hard and fruitful as well. I think I live my life to find joy for myself and others. I'm trying hard to be vulnerable which I hope leads to more openness and connections with other folks.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am trying to participate by trying out Couchsurfing! My friend Chris highly recommends it.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My couchsurfing experience has been limited, but I look forward to expanding it. In 2000 I spent a couple of weeks on my friend's couch when I was apartment hunting in the bay area. In 2008 I spent a weekend with my friend in Tucson. But that's about it!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Traveled to Thailand, Laos & Cambodia in 2008. The trip to SE Asia was my boyfriend's idea, but I think I fell more in love with the region than he did! I especially loved Laos and am scheming to go back as soon as possible. The people were warm and friendly and every experience felt amazing and special.
