Just a bit about myself. I Have been around for a while - a social worker by profession, who has worked many years with some of our most vulnerable in society i.e. men, women and 'children alike, innocent individuals caught up in the saga, the convoluted web created from the acts of family and domestic violence.

And have decided to take 11 months off work to finish writing a very special 'no bars hold' philosophical book about my personal life which I have cleverly managed to turn into a book of ??? healing for humanity, and what better way to write, and be inspired, than to travel through some of our most spectacular parts of the country, with a freedom only some would dream of.
Hence my plan to take a self funded solo trip along the rugged and pristine coastline of Australia on Ms Ella the 3rd, my '1942 Indian 741 Military Scout’. A motorbike initially designed for battle in WW11, now riding for a peaceful cause raising awareness around the damaging effects 'complex trauma' has on our children/adolescents/adults, basically humanity as a whole.
My initial plans as you could imagine once word got out, have snowballed, with much interest from media, motorcycle companies and charity organisations. My cause has now turned into a major fundraising event, I am hoping to reach a financial target raising funds for kids with complex trauma, with all proceeds going back into the Alabny community for programs tailored for these youth - Our 'Silenced Victims'

I am proud to promote this adventure motorbike ride around Australia, a charity event (The Silent Tour) not only raising funds but also raising nationwide awareness through the eyes of our children affected by complex trauma, the result of being exposed to ongoing violence and abuse throughout their crucial developing years which in effect will disadvantage them for the rest of their lives.

ABOUT ME

I am a mother of three amazing adult beautiful daughters. I am an outdoor enthusiast. Love adrenalin activiites. Am a paragliding and motorbike riding enthusiast. Any water activites, camping, and trekking. i am motivational therapist and love socialising with many people from all walks of life.

My philosophy to life is live life to the best and fullest one can. Pushing boundaries/limitations and stepping out of your comfort zone.

All of the above plus experiencing food and drink from many different cultures. I am a Humanitarian in my profession, and love musik - U2, meeting like minded people, and am tapped into my spiritual side - working on a personal book based on spirituality and my life experiences.
