Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Animated with curiosity and passion, I found in CouchSurfing an identity and the best way to travel and meet people!
ABOUT ME
I was born in Paris and grew up in Toulouse in southwest France.
I lived in 6 countries: the US, South Africa, Colombia, Kenya, Switzerland, and Germany.
I've been living for the past five years in Berlin.
I work in the Climate tech space, investing in companies that have the potential to tackle climate change :)
PHILOSOPHY
Happiness is not having what you want. It is wanting what you have (always keep that in mind)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
In the 3 years that I lived in Chicago I hosted a lot of amazing CouchSurfers from Germany, US, France, Ukraine, Colombia,...etc. Tremendous people that make you feel lonely when they leave...
I have also traveled in South Africa and all around the US with CouchSurfing. I have been hosted about 15 times and have never been disappointed. My hosts were simply amazing!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I went to South Africa and worked at Stellenbosch University. I stayed two months there and traveled around a lot in this wonderful country. And, thanks to this South African trip, I discovered CouchSurfing! I have experimented with CouchSurfing three times there: twice in Cape Town and once in Johannesburg. I definitely loved this stay.
I also made a huge trip around the US during the 2009 winter: December 2009- January 2010. It was quite the performance! I couchsurfed during this whole trip. One month!
As a way to give back, I started hosting travelers in Chicago and became one of the top Couchsurfing hosts in the windy city.
Interests
I am really open-minded, I find interest in everything! If you find the right angle to look at things, you'll always have a chance to be fascinated.
But my main interests are travel, the environment, nature, books, cinema, music, sports, photography...
