Overview
About Me
I'm a sarcastic, dog-obsessed book editor, with a passion for all things creative and weird. I'm all for exploring life's pleasures, whether that means sleeping on the beach, dancing at a festival, or just creating food masterpieces
I'm not huge on planning and I usually wing it which for now has proven to be my element - the best random and weird stories come when you have no idea what you're doing
I love my work and I'm very meticulous with it but when it comes to everything else I just need to feel free :) I have unlimited energy and I'm usually up for almost anything especially if it's connected to music or going out
I kind of live for summer which to be honest is a bit unfortunate if you live in Bulgaria like I do :D as much as I appreciate having all four seasons I wouldn't mind if summer lasted for +/-11 months
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I look forward to meeting new people, being the social freak that I am, and finding out more about their life, culture, passions. It's always by human interaction we find the best stuff as well - new music artists, or gigs, or books...
I don't host very often because my schedule is way too hectic and I don't like to offer hotel services - if I have guests I want to hang out and properly show them around. So I accept requests when I know I'll have enough time :) Don't hestitate to write to me of course, I'll at least give you some cool recommendations.
Also, please don't send me messages that just say "hi". What even is this :D I'm not interested in using CS as a chat platform hahah -> hence my low response rate...

Music, Movies, and Books
I can't even begin to cover this... So read this as a first attempt
Music: there's no universal criteria for me to love or hate a song/artist. Forever love for The Doors, Pink Floyd, RHCP, Jimi Hendrix, Ray Charles and Bob Marley. I'm a massive basshead, very much into rap, grime, some indie shit, ragga, good beats always.
Movies: all-time fav will have to be Apocalypse Now
the masters are Kubrick, Lynch, Villeneuve, Tarantino, Wes Anderson, Bergman, Scorsese, Cohen bros, Almodovar
and thank you for Blade Runner, Ridley Scott, you incoherent weirdo
Books: I'll never get tired of reading Steinbeck, Vonnegut and Fitzgerald
love also Paul Auster, Bulgakov, Ilf&Petrov...
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
You don't want to know... yet
Teach, Learn, Share
I have a very special set of skills - being annoyingly specific about how things are done around the kitchen (I try to limit this to my own kitchen only, I'm aware how super annoying it is); fixing old furniture; drinking beer for an unlimited number of hours; singing (but I'm sure it sounds better in my head); bringing out the most reckless side of people; surviving that last thing I mentioned; using my laughter as a signal for friends to find me anywhere. Now that I've written them down, I seem a bit useless
But hey! I can edit the sh** out of books and I love talking about art and music, travels, and really, most things
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can certainly tell you what I can share with surfers - obviously, my absurdly comfortable couch :) I can't promise to be always available, but I'll always try to show you what I find to be the best of my lovely city, recommend places and events, often join you if you'd like, and generally make sure you'd get the most of your stay here! I love Sofia and I'm more than happy to try to show you why :) Also, you'll get to hang out with the most amazing dog in the world.
