ABOUT ME

I am french and live in North Sulawesi since 2008, I married an Indonesian girl from Tumbak a bajo village in North Sulawesi. I used to work in Tumbak with a french NGO for the conservation of coral reefs. Now, I try to promote ecotourism in Tumbak with a group of villagers.

I have two sons Rasya and Tiyan.

I am a marine biologist and a diver.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I met amazing people with couchsurfing, the concept is very cool and I like it. But I have some reservations now after hosting dozens of surfers. I feel couchsurfing.org is to famous now and more and more peoples use it only to get a free place to stay,sometime meeting you is not the first priority. If I host you I'll be sure to have time to be with you. I read couchrequest with attention before accept request. I need to feel that you really want to meet me not only looking for a place to stay.

My best experience in the life is to life in indonesia since 6 years. My wife is bajo and have family in most of bajo village in sulawesi and maluku. I have an unique opportunity to visit all theses places like banggai and sula islands with amazing peoples in beautiful places.

North Sulawesi is an underwater paradise everywhere, Bunaken is the most famous but not the only one (and not my favorite). You should try Bangka Island, Lembeh Strait, Tumbak Lagoon and Ratatotok bay. Every place are differents and beautiful.
