I work as a freelance scientific journalist in Bordeaux, France. I also moderate conferences on many subjects. If I do this job, it's maybe because I like both discovering many aspects of our world and trying to pass on what I've understood. And writing articles has something pleasant cause you are in a creative process !

It's tasteless to travel in a country without talking with local people or other travelers. You share your cultural luggage, they open their world to you : it's a kind of utopian vision but sometimes, often, it works well.
Discovering a place is also discovering its people !

Music : playing piano, singing and trying the Maschine pad. Stacking vinyls also !
Book : I don't really have time to read this year, but I'm trying to write a short novel and it takes so much time...

I'm listening a lot of things in music, but especially jazz, rock and electro as house music (some artists : Sonic Youth, Of Montreal, Andy Shauff, Bad Bad Not Good, Fleet Foxes, Modeselektor...)
I like old movies, like Nouvelle Vague ones, but also current directors like Wes Anderson, Coen, Wong Kar-wai, Xavier Dolan...
L'arrache-coeur is one of my favourite book. Furthermore, Kundera is like a pope for me !

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Making an humanitarian mission in Togo with native people. I play with children in little village with educational games and went from places to places to talk about sexually transmitted diseases.
But contrary to what one might think, best travels can be only a few hours from your house... and my best memories are in the Pyrenees. Walking during two long days in the forest, taking my time to enjoy the landscape, that's what I like.
