Graduated student in marine ecology. Trying to make a PhD project in New Zealand about marine microplastic pollution.

I spent my childhood in Paris (France) and studied biology at the university. I travelled extensively near the ocean, working and learning about marine species (i.e. Atlantic ocean, Mediterranean sea, Reunion island, French Polynesia).

I decided to go in New Zeland for more than 6 months to improve my english skills, working in sustainable and organic farms (woofing), to meet local people and to explore the country.

I spent 3 days in Beijing before, I met my first couchsurfer host, who was keen to take me in amazing restaurants and showed me the Forbidden City.

As many people, I love experciencing new things, sharing my knowledges and french culture. I'm very attentive to people and if you host me I will try to do my best to have a comfortable stay together :)

Music : Everything. But I have a preference for rock music, latino music, surf music, reggae, dub and ska
My favorite band music is Ska-P (Spanish band).

Films : The Prestige, Point Break, The Big Blue, Steven Spielberg's movies, Christopher Nolan's movies, Disney's movies etc.

Books : La nuit des enfants rois (French), Lord of the flies, Sherlock Holmes's book, 20 000 leagues under the sea, 1984 George Orwell, The Alchemist and scientific literature ;)

Going to French Polynesia during a six-month internship, working on the ingestion of microplastics by coral reef fish.
I visited a friend in Bora-Bora island and I slept on a cargo vessel before arriving on the island, departure from Tahiti. I assisted him in a medical center for sea turtle.

I am a latino dancer (Salsa, bachata ...) and I practice extreme sports (Surf, climbing, snowboard ...).

I am a french so I can talk a lot about french food, eating my bread and drinking a glass of wine haha! I like to share knowledges and tips about Paris too.
