Back home after one year of world exploration !

ABOUT ME

I like discovering new places and new people, learning and understanding different cultures, and new activities. I try my best to find out my inner limits and go over it, go outside my comfort zone as much as possible. I see this as a way of becoming better at myself :). I value honesty and loyalty a lot and I always try to help whenever possible.

My life has mostly been driven by passion : when I discover something I really like, I have the capacity of dedicating myself entirely to it, and getting good at it quite quickly.

I used to work in IT for a long time, but two years ago, I got bored and realized there was plenty of others things I would like to invest my time in. This is when I started studying Bachata dancing, and got really ambitious about discovering other country.

About two years ago, I quited my job, and a few months after that, started backpacking around the world for one year.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I travel, host and make friends. I embrace new cultures. I really like the idea that with couchsurfing, you can see places through the eyes of the local people. After all, the best travel memories are the people you meet! I host people when possible, and always try to help the travelers I meet on the road.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've met a lot of CouchSurfer while traveling, and now I am starting my own journey. So far I have surfed in France, India, and Hong-Kong. The experiences were fun and I look forward to do it again!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Sky diving, paragliding, diving, zip lining in Laos, teaching Bachata in Bangkok, swimming with shark and giant turtle in Thailand.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can dance and demo Bachata, and I can teach you basic, intermediate, and even some advanced moves.

I'm also in computing, and can probably teach various things about it (programming, security, Linux, network, etc).

I should also be able to help you with traveling, and photography.

Finally, I am now trying to learn Spanish. And any help would be greatly appreciated :-)
