Well, I'm 29 and haven't traveled half as much as I wish I had! I love travelling and couchsurfing is for me a part of travelling. I have hosted (with my ex-partner) around 10 people in Shrewsbury, where I last lived and had very positive experiences! (see emily peacock's profile)

I have recently traveled extensively to South America, where I met my girlfriend :) , and now I am settling in Bordeaux for a while.

I have only surfed a few times, in Europe, the States and South America and always was a very nice experience.

Other than travelling, I work in technology in a whole, robotics. but worry not I am not a crazy mad scientist.

I believe I am a kind person, always willing to go the extra mile to help people. And hosting people is about helping people out in a way.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I was happy to host people, give them shelter for a night or two, when I still had a house., for now I live in a tiny studio but would happily host once I've moved to a bigger flat.

I am also happy to get to experience the other side of it a bit more, surfing.

Mostly, I think it's a great way to make new friends and hear amazing or interesting stories.

兴趣

I am a robotician, so I do love technology but I am very open minded and like lots of things. Indeed my interests are broad, and broadens everyday.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

In December 2016 I quit everything, and went off across the Atlantic with only my backpack left as possession.

Spent 5 months in Singapore, travelled 3 weeks around South East Asia.

Touch Elephants, Built robots, Ate worms, had a physical argument with a taxi driver, trekked volcanoes, explored Angkor Wat, backpacked through Colombia, Ecuador, Perú and Bolivia, Chile , Argentina and Brasil and only got Robbed at gunpoint once.
