ABOUT ME

Thats a toughy, lets say i am a busy person who is interested in anything from astronomy to architecture, so my mind is always busy learning and exploring new things, at the same time, i love laughing and I seek out people that have a sense of humour, my fave is the humour of the British :)

That having been the nutshell, we shall now crack it open... so I am a music-guy at heart... what I do is write and sing songs and post em on youtube, ask me if you would like to see it :) as they used to call me in Kathmandu, a music guru!

Now I am from the Caribbean, the Southside, and as it stands, we are ranked as the happiest people on earth.. that said, yes, we enjoy the sun, the caribbean sea and the near-permanently perfect weather, save for the intermittent hurricane, of course, which btw, gets more people outside of the Caribbean frightened than it does us over here, as the day after a storm we pick up our belongings and our lives being lazy in the sun just as we did before... and so all is well. Sounds intriguing? Hop over and come sea for yourself (stupid pun, I know)

So I am a medical student, and yes.. I do want to make the world a better place to live... generally, I just want people to be happy, when people arent happy, I'M not happy... so yes, if you come here, it truly will be "no worries, mon, be irie!!!" That last one is the fakest representation of a Caribbean accent and expression you can get, but you get the point.

So I hope you've now been sufficiently warmed/warned (yes, that was a joke)... beware of visiting the Caribbean... you may enjoy it and wind up staying for a while!!! In the meantime, I hope I'll have a couch, or at least a "hamaca" (hammock) to offer you for that time. :)

I host and guest. Ive been all over the world in fact and I know how much easier it is to have connections somewhere so you can get to know the place and avoid the traveling pitfalls of being out-of-the-know in a new place... that will cost you so much time you could have spent seeing and experiencing and learning the cool stuff.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Guested and hosted and it was a totally cool thing... I like sleepless nights, night owl here, and love mornings still. Not to mention I love the tour-guide gig... it makes you realise stuff even about your own country when seen through a visitor's eyes... (I dont like the term "foreigner", because well, we live in the same world all of us, and I don't like "stranger" because it has a sense of "wierdness to it... wouldnt you agree??)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

saw the Grand Canyon!!!! And just nearby, the oldest inhabited village of the Americas.. Oraibi in Hopiland, an unknown country surrounded by the US, near four corners arizona... also the Cambodia temple, Angkor... not to mention Kathmandu, the Costa Rican jungle, trains in Europe, but thats pretty standard... ehm, well life is amazing, most of it is, so I guess the one amazing thing I have done is... be alive!!!!

Teach, Learn, Share

I'll teach anyone anything for free if I have the spare time.. english??? guitar??? stargazing???(GREAT here in the Caribbean sky!!!) coral reef fish taxonomy perhaps??? You name it man!!! (and wo-man, a-hem, I'm not a sexist, dont have an "-ist" and I have a VERY low threshold of tolerance for intolerance of other people, so no -isty people pls...)
